Laser Helps You Heal Better & Faster
Laser adds energy to your cells so they heal faster. It causes the release of chemicals in your cells that speed healing. Plus it helps cells send messages to nearby cells that also help healing. How?
Laser Adds Healing Energy to Your Cells
It is really interesting. Your cells use things called mitochondria to do work - like healing. The mitochondria use chemicals that pass electrons around. When we apply the therapy laser to an area of the body, the electrons get an energy boost. This adds energy to your system to move healing along.
Laser Releases Healing Chemicals in Your Cells
An example of a chemical released inside your cells is Calcium. The mitochondria releases calcium which causes your DNA to become active to help with healing. The extra calcium helps to send signals to nearby cells to help with healing.
Laser Releases Healing Messages to Nearby Cells
The added laser energy in your cells increases cellular activity and causes the release of chemicals in your cells.
This results in your cells sending out message to nearby cells. You may end up with increased blood flow as your veins and arteries respond to these messages. Cells that make scar tissue are called in to heal damage. Other cells can be called in to clean up damaged tissue.
These are all the things that normally happen when you need to heal. The laser just helps speed things up.
Laser Blocks Pain Signals
Laser has been found to have a direct impact on nerves that carry pain signals. Within a few minutes of therapy, the laser causes changes to the nerves that slow down the transmission of pain signals to your spinal cord. You end up with less pain input to your spinal cord. Less pain signals get sent up to your brain. You have less pain!
With less pain you can move more. You will be able to do your home exercises more. You will heal quicker. And in the end you will get better quicker.
